WordPress Designer & Developer | Megotech

<p>As a WordPress Designer &amp; Developer at <strong>Megotech</strong>, you will be responsible for creating modern, responsive, and high-performing websites using WordPress. You&rsquo;ll work collaboratively with designers, backend developers, and project managers to deliver custom solutions that meet Megotech&rsquo;s standards of usability, performance, and scalability.</p>

<h3><strong>Responsibilities</strong></h3>

<p>Design and develop fully responsive WordPress websites using themes and custom templates.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Customize themes and plugins &mdash; including advanced work with Elementor, Gutenberg, and page builders.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Develop custom plugins or modify existing ones to meet project requirements.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Optimize website speed, security, SEO structure, and overall performance.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Integrate 3rd-party APIs, payment gateways, and external services when needed.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Troubleshoot bugs, compatibility issues, and performance bottlenecks.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Collaborate closely with designers to transform UI/UX mockups into functional WordPress pages.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Manage hosting setup, migrations, cPanel tasks, DNS, and site deployments.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Maintain and update existing WordPress websites for clients.</p>
</li>

<p>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Computer Science, IT, Multimedia, or a related field.</p>

<p>Minimum <strong>2 years of experience</strong> in WordPress design and development.</p>

<p>Strong experience with Elementor, Gutenberg, WooCommerce, and modern theme development.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Solid understanding of PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and MySQL.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Experience with WordPress hooks, actions, filters, and the template hierarchy.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Ability to create pixel-perfect designs based on Figma/Adobe XD mockups.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Familiarity with SEO principles, website optimization, and security best practices.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Experience with Git and collaborative workflows is a plus.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Knowledge of basic server management, hosting, and domain configuration.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Strong debugging, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.</p>
